python-securetar on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "python-securetar" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install python-securetar on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S python-securetar

* (Optional) Uninstall python-securetar on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns python-securetar

2. Manually Install "python-securetar" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone python-securetar's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/python-securetar.git ~/python-securetar

c. Go to ~/python-securetar folder and install it

$ cd ~/python-securetar $ makepkg -si
