r-alpine on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "r-alpine" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install r-alpine on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S r-alpine

* (Optional) Uninstall r-alpine on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns r-alpine

2. Manually Install "r-alpine" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone r-alpine's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/r-alpine.git ~/r-alpine

c. Go to ~/r-alpine folder and install it

$ cd ~/r-alpine $ makepkg -si
