1. Install "r-compounddb" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)
a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)
$
sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install r-compounddb on Arch using YAY
$
yay -S
r-compounddb

* (Optional) Uninstall r-compounddb on Arch using YAY
$
yay -Rns

2. Manually Install "r-compounddb" via AUR
a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

sudo pacman -S --needed
