random_machine_id-openrc on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "random_machine_id-openrc" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install random_machine_id-openrc on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S random_machine_id-openrc

* (Optional) Uninstall random_machine_id-openrc on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns random_machine_id-openrc

2. Manually Install "random_machine_id-openrc" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone random_machine_id-openrc's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/random_machine_id-openrc.git ~/random_machine_id-openrc

c. Go to ~/random_machine_id-openrc folder and install it

$ cd ~/random_machine_id-openrc $ makepkg -si
