remote_syslog2 on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "remote_syslog2" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install remote_syslog2 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S remote_syslog2

* (Optional) Uninstall remote_syslog2 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns remote_syslog2

2. Manually Install "remote_syslog2" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone remote_syslog2's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/remote_syslog2.git ~/remote_syslog2

c. Go to ~/remote_syslog2 folder and install it

$ cd ~/remote_syslog2 $ makepkg -si
