ruby-chinese_pinyin on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "ruby-chinese_pinyin" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install ruby-chinese_pinyin on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S ruby-chinese_pinyin

* (Optional) Uninstall ruby-chinese_pinyin on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns ruby-chinese_pinyin

2. Manually Install "ruby-chinese_pinyin" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone ruby-chinese_pinyin's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/ruby-chinese_pinyin.git ~/ruby-chinese_pinyin

c. Go to ~/ruby-chinese_pinyin folder and install it

$ cd ~/ruby-chinese_pinyin $ makepkg -si

3. Information about the ruby-chinese_pinyin package on Arch User Repository (AUR)
