scim-pinyin on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "scim-pinyin" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install scim-pinyin on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S scim-pinyin

* (Optional) Uninstall scim-pinyin on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns scim-pinyin

2. Manually Install "scim-pinyin" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone scim-pinyin's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/scim-pinyin.git ~/scim-pinyin

c. Go to ~/scim-pinyin folder and install it

$ cd ~/scim-pinyin $ makepkg -si
