smdev-openrc on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "smdev-openrc" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install smdev-openrc on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S smdev-openrc

* (Optional) Uninstall smdev-openrc on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns smdev-openrc

2. Manually Install "smdev-openrc" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone smdev-openrc's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/smdev-openrc.git ~/smdev-openrc

c. Go to ~/smdev-openrc folder and install it

$ cd ~/smdev-openrc $ makepkg -si

3. Information about the smdev-openrc package on Arch User Repository (AUR)
