snmpsim-git on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "snmpsim-git" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install snmpsim-git on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S snmpsim-git

* (Optional) Uninstall snmpsim-git on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns snmpsim-git

2. Manually Install "snmpsim-git" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone snmpsim-git's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/snmpsim-git.git ~/snmpsim-git

c. Go to ~/snmpsim-git folder and install it

$ cd ~/snmpsim-git $ makepkg -si

3. Information about the snmpsim-git package on Arch User Repository (AUR)
