steam-standalone on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "steam-standalone" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install steam-standalone on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S steam-standalone

* (Optional) Uninstall steam-standalone on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns steam-standalone

2. Manually Install "steam-standalone" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone steam-standalone's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/steam-standalone.git ~/steam-standalone

c. Go to ~/steam-standalone folder and install it

$ cd ~/steam-standalone $ makepkg -si

3. Information about the steam-standalone package on Arch User Repository (AUR)
