upd8all on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "upd8all" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install upd8all on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S upd8all

* (Optional) Uninstall upd8all on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns upd8all

2. Manually Install "upd8all" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone upd8all's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/upd8all.git ~/upd8all

c. Go to ~/upd8all folder and install it

$ cd ~/upd8all $ makepkg -si
