1. Install "vdr-channeleditor" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install vdr-channeleditor on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S vdr-channeleditor

* (Optional) Uninstall vdr-channeleditor on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns vdr-channeleditor

2. Manually Install "vdr-channeleditor" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone vdr-channeleditor's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/vdr-channeleditor.git ~/vdr-channeleditor

c. Go to ~/vdr-channeleditor folder and install it

$ cd ~/vdr-channeleditor $ makepkg -si
