vmware-vcli on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "vmware-vcli" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install vmware-vcli on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S vmware-vcli

* (Optional) Uninstall vmware-vcli on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns vmware-vcli

2. Manually Install "vmware-vcli" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone vmware-vcli's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/vmware-vcli.git ~/vmware-vcli

c. Go to ~/vmware-vcli folder and install it

$ cd ~/vmware-vcli $ makepkg -si
