xperia-flashtool on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "xperia-flashtool" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install xperia-flashtool on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S xperia-flashtool

* (Optional) Uninstall xperia-flashtool on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns xperia-flashtool

2. Manually Install "xperia-flashtool" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone xperia-flashtool's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/xperia-flashtool.git ~/xperia-flashtool

c. Go to ~/xperia-flashtool folder and install it

$ cd ~/xperia-flashtool $ makepkg -si
