How to Install and Uninstall python-mecab Package on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver)

1. Install "python-mecab" package

This tutorial shows how to install python-mecab on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver)

$ sudo apt update $ sudo apt install python-mecab

2. Uninstall "python-mecab" package

Please follow the guidelines below to uninstall python-mecab on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver):

$ sudo apt remove python-mecab $ sudo apt autoclean && sudo apt autoremove
