1. Install "slurmd" package

$ sudo apt update $ sudo apt install slurmd

2. Uninstall "slurmd" package

Please follow the instructions below to uninstall slurmd on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus):

$ sudo apt remove slurmd $ sudo apt autoclean && sudo apt autoremove
